Ziel
You will receive a certificate of competence in accordance with DGUV Regulation 3.
After completing the course, you will be able to better assess the hazards of electric current.
You will be capable of taking appropriate action in the event of electrical accidents.
You will gain an overview of electrical equipment and devices.
The instructor will provide an overview of the relevant accident prevention regulations and standards.
You will acquire the technical knowledge required to inspect and assess portable electrical equipment in accordance with VDE 0701 and VDE 0702 under the supervision of a qualified electrician (EFK).
Inhalt
This certificate course is intended for all employees who, due to their work responsibilities, are required to be present in electrical operating areas or rooms, and who work on or with electrical equipment without having formal electrical training.
Typical daily tasks of an Electrically Instructed Person (EIP) may include:
- Operating circuit breakers and residual current devices (RCDs)
- Replacing fuses and light bulbs
- Resetting emergency stop devices or protective equipment
- Exchanging fuse inserts
- Assisting qualified electricians (EFK) in testing electrical equipment and devices in accordance with DGUV Regulation 3
- Supporting maintenance activities of any kind
In this course, you will acquire the essential electrical knowledge and deepen it through practical exercises on portable electrical equipment. In addition to electrical fundamentals, you will learn about electrical hazards, necessary protective measures, and the correct use of measuring and testing devices.
Note:
An Electrically Instructed Person (EIP) is not authorized to assume independent electrical responsibility. EIPs are not permitted to modify electrical circuits, connect or disconnect electrical devices, or locate or repair faults in electrical installations. The EIP always works under the direction and supervision of a qualified electrician (EFK).
This course meets the requirements of accident prevention regulations and the DIN VDE standards.
